The preparation meeting of SRLab and Ferring Pharmaceuticals

Ferring leaders: SVP R&D Supervisor Alan Harris, China CEO Jan Peutzfeldt, VP Therapeutic Area Head Reproductive Medicine & Women's Health Research Marcel van Duin, Reproductive Health Supervisor Ian Cottingham, VP Translational Medicine Malin Carlsson, VP Bioanalysis Karsten Skydsgaard, China Innovation Director Donghui Qin, and Corporation attorney Bolette Wildt visited the SRLab.
The Principal Investigators (PIs) of the SRLab conducted academic exchanges from the aspects of current achievements, and translational research questions, future directions with Ferring Pharmaceutical. Marcel introduced the Ferring's development and history, R&D investments, famous pharmaceuticals, collaboration interests etc. Prof. Wei Li gave a talk of artificial sperm and reproductive restoration. Prof. Yanling Wang delivered a speech on placenta, pregnancy diseases and offspring health. Prof. Fei Gao presented scientific report on animal models of clinical infertility diseases and in vivo restoration. Prof. Baoyang Hu reported cell/small molecules and regenerative medicine. Prof. Zhenbo Wang reported cross-generation inheritance and offspring health. Associate Prof. Ying Zhang gave a speak on stem cell restoration of uterus and uterus fluid component. Ferring fully exchanged their collaboration interests with PIs.
After the academic exchanges, Director of the SRLab Hongmei Wang and Prof. Haoyi Wang conducted a small group meeting with Alan Harris, Jan Peutzfeldt, Donghui Qin, and Bolette Wildt. All parites fully exchanged opinions in collaboration format, scope, and term, intellectual property transfer and related concerns and reached MOU.
Academist Qi Zhou invited Ferring to visit the completed building of the Institute of Stem Cell and Regeneration and Yanqi lake campus of the University of CAS. All parties looked forward to further communications and collaboration.
