On Nov 4, 2019, Ferring President & CSO Per Falk visits the Institute for Stem Cell and Regeneration (ISCR), Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Joint Steering Committee Chair of 2019 Marcel van Duin introduced the establishment and development of Ferring Institute of Reproductive Medicine (FIRM) as well as the recent progress of FIRM accomplishments. Prof. Baoyang Hu, the Vice Director of ISCR gave a talk on the mission, research scope and future direction of the ISCR. Both parties discussed on FIRM developement and fully exchanged their collaboration interests.

After the academic exchanges, President & CSO Per Falk, VP, Reproductive Medicine & Maternal Health, Henk Jan Out, VP Therapeutic Area Head Reproductive Medicine & Maternal Health Marcel van Duin visited the CAS Headquarter. On behalf of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Zhang Yaping fully affirmed and highly evaluated the extraordinary achievements by FIRM and its leading role in setting up a raw model in international scientific collaborations in the field of reproductive medicine. Zhang encouraged the FIRM collaboration  to advance translational research and resolve global reproductive health problems.
